A Brief History of the Church of Christ
The Church of Christ was established in 33 A.D. upon the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The first recorded time for the followers of Christ were called “Christians” was at Antioch (Acts 11:26). And we, as Christians, are taught that the church is not the building, but the members united in the gospel doing life together. “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20).
